North Somerset's County Youth Brass Band dedicated to young, improving brass musicians. We empower the next generation of performers through excellence in music and community.
Our Brass Families
From initial notes to advanced performances, there's a place for every young musician. Our students join a band that matches their abilities, and formal grade exams are not required.
Starter Band
Perfect for absolute beginners or those in their first year of playing. Focus on fun and foundational skills.
Training Band
Developing ensemble skills and expanding repertoire for improving players ready for a new challenge.
Junior Band
Refining individual technical playing skills and ability. Preparing the next generation of musicians to move up to the youth band.
Youth Band
Our Youth Band performs advanced works and specializes in popular repertoire, including pieces like the James Bond theme, delivering high-energy performances at local concerts and community events.

What a brilliant day we had at the Lions District 105SW convention in Croyde on Saturday!
A very early start but after bacon butties we were ready for our part in the opening ceremony. Our Youth Band played magnificently and entertained Lions during lunch.
